Featured customised programme

Clear Leadership, Steady Team

A practical communication and people-management programme for growing SME teams

As a business grows, goodwill and informal conversations may no longer be enough. Owners need clearer expectations, employees need fairer communication, and the whole team benefits from knowing how difficult issues will be handled.

1

Private Owner Alignment Session

Clarify the owner's management values, expectations, recognition principles, boundaries and approach to difficult conversations.

2

Half-Day Team Communication Workshop

Help the team understand expectations, different communication styles, fairness, boundaries and practical ways to handle disagreement.

3

Team Communication Agreement

Co-create a short set of workplace communication norms that the team can use after the workshop.

Optional follow-through may include: anonymous pre-workshop staff input, an Owner Communication Map, post-workshop owner debrief, feedback summary, follow-up owner support, and simple communication guides or internal templates.

This programme is customised and quotation-based. It is a workplace communication and team-alignment programme, not counselling, psychological assessment or legal advice. Unless specifically arranged through a registered provider, it should not be represented as HRD Corp claimable.

PROGRAMME 1 — OPERATIONAL STAFF

Anger & Stress Management, De-escalation Skills and DASS-21 Wellbeing Self-Check

One day, 9.00 a.m.–5.00 p.m.

Suitable for operational and frontline employees who manage pressure, complaints, urgent demands or emotionally charged interactions.

Participants learn to recognise triggers, use a short self-reset, apply the CALM de-escalation method, distinguish a normal complaint from one needing escalation, complete a workplace action plan, and use DASS-21 as a guided wellbeing-awareness exercise.

C — Check yourself: pause, breathe and steady your response
A — Acknowledge the issue
L — Lead with a clear next step
M — Move to a solution or escalation
PROGRAMME 2 — SUPERVISORS & TEAM LEADERS

Conflict Resolution, Distressed Employee Support and DASS-21 Wellbeing Measurement

One day, 9.00 a.m.–5.00 p.m.

Suitable for supervisors, team leaders, shift or outlet leaders, assistant managers and junior-to-middle managers.

Participants learn to recognise conflict and distress signals, separate observation from assumption, manage their own response, hold a brief respectful support conversation, document factually, protect privacy and escalate through the correct channel.

S — Settle and check safety
A — Ask and listen
F — Focus on facts, options and next steps
E — Escalate where appropriate

Responsible use of DASS-21

In these programmes, DASS-21 is used as a guided self-report tool for general wellbeing awareness and reflection. It is not a diagnosis, clinical label, disciplinary measure or substitute for assessment by a qualified professional. Participation, privacy, interpretation boundaries and any follow-up should be managed appropriately with the employer and registered training provider.

Programme and HRD Corp arrangement

Chai Sei Lei promotes and facilitates these programmes through Solis Insight. Where HRD Corp registration or claim arrangements apply, they will be handled through the HRD Corp-registered training provider appointed for that engagement. The appointed provider may vary according to the programme and engagement, and its identity and the applicable administrative arrangements will be confirmed directly in the quotation or registration process.

Shirley's HRD Corp Accredited Trainer status is an individual trainer accreditation. It does not mean that Solis Insight itself is an HRD Corp registered training provider.
